Sushi Quilt(s)
I saw this sushi quilt pattern at Hunter's Design Studio and knew I would have fun with this project.
This color block quilt rolls up to mimic the color combination of a sushi roll. Per the awesome directions with the pattern, I used the pillow method on this one.
The recipient of this quilt called me to let me know that my quilting of the 'salmon' was the best representation of meat in fabric ever! (I am sure it is not.)
I made two quilts with this pattern and call the second one "Bonus Sushi."
Sushi quilt was a quilting exercise for me while Bonus Sushi was a color placement exercise for me.

It looks just like Sushi! |
You can see that I attempted to add some quilting texture. |

RSC 16 Brown
The RSC 16 February color is/was brown! Brown with pink accents! I finished the row for what I am calling the RSC 16 quilt. I will not be posting pictures of ALL the rows. This quilt may possibly be a gift for someone and should be kept a surprise...
I did work with some brown in another scrappy project. This project is meant to loosely look like sky, earth, water, and the bowels of the earth. It is still a work in progress.

RSC 15 Flimsy
The RSC 15 flimsy is finished.
I chose a flower print for the bottom border. (It is almost a 40 inch border.) It will hang off the edge of the bed nicely.
The quilt measures 93.5 inches by 118 inches.
The quilt back will not be prepared for quite sometime.
I would like a scrappy quilt back. My scraps are too small and I am not up to the challenge of sewing them all together for such a huge undertaking.
