Yes, I have been absent from this blog for more than a few months.  I have slowly, here and there been sewing a queen sized quilt for a June birthday gift.  I used the "To the Nines" pattern from the book Fat Quarters Anonymous.
It took me a long time to make a final decision on the color/ pattern selection.  I asked the quilt recipient to pick out a Kona solid that she liked... she surprised me with a shade of purple on the list! I went out and bought purple asap.  Then I went out and bought more purple to match!
This is the fifth and largest quilt for me.
I wanted this quilt to have a nice finished look to it.  Jolene from 
Good Knight Quilts finished the quilt's binding and did the Longarm work.  I think it looks fab! Thanks Jolene!
